Driver's Ed

Jr and Sr enjoyed the beautiful day with some driving lessons. Given Sr's recent traffic record, I was not sure that he was the best person to teach his son to drive, but Coach King would be proud at how fast Jr caught on to steering and honking the horn. I hope we have a very SAFE and LEGAL driver in the making.The box was almost as fun as the car!! Thanks Jett and Scoot!

Beautiful Day

The weather was perfect, so we met Jett for an afternoon of golfing. Jr loved driving the cart and watching Daddy and Jett hit the ball.

Daddy's Retirement

Breck Sr has not yet quit his job, but as you can tell from the video, it is only a matter of time before Jr is supporting us on his professional sports salary. We only have to figure out which sport. Right now, I am thinking we have a future Roy Munson or Ernie McCraken, but we have decided to leave all of our options open.

Tent Mooching

It is true. Our precious friends have worked very hard this year and put together a fabulous grove setup complete with professional decorations, HD TV, comfortable chairs and delicious food. Breck and I choose not to be real memebers of their tent (although we were founding members when it was not nearly as organized); our plan was to eat next door at Jean's tent, and just hang out at theirs. Well, they called us on it this weekend, and I have to admit we would like to join if they will so graciously offer us a place. I promise to bring choclate chip pound cakes as peace offerings for the rest of the season.

Daddy in Charge

Breck has been in charge of Breck for the past two nights.....That's right. In charge of feeding, changing, bathing and putting to bed. Although, Jr has not actually gotten his bath; he has eaten his dinner, drank his bottle, and gone to bed with clothing on - maybe not what I would choose, but clothes nonetheless. I think Sr should be in charge more often and judging by the picture, I think Jr agrees with me!!

Silver Steppers

For those of you who don't know, I have been sponsoring the JA Silver Steppers for 5 years now. This year we have a WONDERFUL group. They are sweet, precious, and most importantly good dancers. We had our first pep rally this morning and the dance looked awesome. I am so proud of them.

We had so much fun at the Zoo Party. We danced all night long...you know it's a fun band when even Breck dances...the 80's band was fabulous, even the costumes (I must admit, Pee Wee Herman was the only one I knew...I had to ask who the rest were, I guess I wasn't tuned in to 80's culture when I was four...)
