Flower Girls

Here are the precious flower girls at Wendy's wedding; my niece, Georgia, and cousin's daughter, Gracie. Picture stolen from Jake's blog.

Ridley????

For those of you who do not know, Breck shares some mannerisms with his cousin Ridley. The first was sucking his two middle fingers to sleep, and now he travels with his lovie in his mouth - a tiger, just like Ridley's "tigger". Well, I guess we named him appropriately.

The Lake

This is how children are intended to ride in carseats.....Right???

All bundled up

Lunch with the Girls

Wendy's wedding was this weekend, so to kick off the festivities Lindsey organized a lunch/lingerie shower at Bon Ami. This was perhaps the first and last lingerie shower Breck will ever attend!!

Brunch

Bobby Flay's Bar American was wonderful. From the homemade chips dipped in blue cheese to the Snapper Tacos and Blueberry Wheat Waffles, we could not quit eating!!

Limos to Rickshaws

Transportation in New York is volatile; either abundant or scarce. Given a choice, we prefer to enjoy the amenities of a limosine, but in times of need we will ride a bicycle rickshaw anywhere!!

We volunteered to stimulate the economy at Tiffany's, Saks, or both!! For some reason the guys thought we should leave that to congress.

NYSE

Hopefully, the market hit the bottom on Friday - and we were there to witness it!!

New Skis???

Since it is October and finally starting to get cooler, I decided Breck needed some shoes. Being a December baby, he only wore socks and airplane robeez (Thanks Copelands) last winter and has been bare foot all summer. So, I took my baby into Stride Rite, where the sales lady insisted I needed to buy him walkers. He screamed bloody murder while she was getting them on his feet, but she insisted that all babies have to get used to shoes and this is what we needed - I should have listened to my baby. Anyway, we got home and I quickly realized he is going to hate these things. They are enormous!! He can hardly crawl, much less pull up; even when he is sitting his feet look like they are going funny directions, and I swear they add five pounds and make carrying him awkward.
Don't worry, I have since figured out that everyone buys the adorable soft shoes, and I have made not one, but two purchases. So here is a picture in his walkers, just in case he never wears them again!!

"Kinda like a Puppy....but not really"

Senior's quote to Junior about the goats at the fair
...and don't worry, I did not let them touch anything, although at the end they really wanted to pet the baby goat.

Driving a Pink Car

Rimes was sweet enough to let Breck drive her car for awhile at the Fair.....It doesn't look like he minded the color.

The Fair

We took this picture of ourselves on the merry go round, so that is why poor Rimes did not quite make it into the frame. Nash, Ridley and Jett all thought Lindsay and I looked like twins in our sunglasses and same color shirts.......from this picture, I have to agree.

BBQ

Breck made his famous BBQ and we took dinner to Papa and Gammy's last night. Dinner was fabulous and we loved getting to spend time with four generations of Hines!!
