Begging

Reagan has taught Jr to "beg" for food. Does that mean they spend too much time together?

Lunch Play Date

Breck and I had some friends over for lunch today. It got a little crazy, but we all had so much fun. Pam-Pam's school bus was a hit, and I know I will be finding balls around my house for the next couple of weeks. Now that the children have gotten to play, I think the mommies need to have our own play date really soon.

Big Brake

We had a fun Saturday night at the camp in Belzoni. Jr went on his first 4 wheeler ride and loved it!! He kept crawling to the door for his Daddy to take him on another ride.

Fried Chicken and Apple Pie

Granny treated us to a fabulous southern meal of fried chicken, fried corn, field peas, rice and gravy, and Jett's homemade bisciuts. Then to top it all off, we had her famous apple pie a la mode. YUM!!

Want Some Peas?

Wine Tasting

Last night, we held the wine tasting we all "won" (or as Breck says, bought) at the MS Children's Home auction this past spring. Scott, from Colony Wine Market, brought a variety of wines, starting with Pinot Gris and ending seven lables later with a Malbec. Despite several in the group who were still dusting off the cobwebs from a late night on Friday, a really good time was had by all! We need to do this again!

Slobovia Pumpkin Drop

Saturday was the annual Pumpkin Drop at Slobovia, a grass airstrip community just north of Jackson. Breck flew us in and we joined about 50 other planes and helicopters and about 300 people for lunch...and after lunch, some of the planes took the kids up for a ride, and let them throw little pumpkins out the window at a target on the runway! It was really a lot of fun and a great way to introduce young kids to flying. Baby Breck had a wonderful time and was mesmorized by all the activity...he was asleep before wheels up on the way home!

Halloween - One More Time

Since we were in Oxford for Halloween, we put the monkey costume on one more time to trick-or-treat at PamPam and Larry Boo's house. Breck wasted no time breaking into the pumpkin they had packed with all of his mommy-approved Gerber favorites!!
I really think Breck Jr makes a great monkey; and I am a little sad Halloween is over, so be warned.....this may not be the last time you see my little boy dressed like a monkey!
